Kareena Kapoor Khan is expected to give birth to her first child any day now. While the actress has been going around, flaunting her baby bump over the past couple of months, she started maintaining a low profile since the past few days. Rumours started doing the rounds that her blood pressure had shot up and she was unwell. However, Kareena was spotted at a lunch date with her gang posed for a few pictures too. So is Kareena Kapoor Khan really fine? Or is she unwell? Well, her father Randhir Kapoor has the perfect answer that will clear everyone’s doubts…
Speaking to Times of India, Randhir Kapoor mentioned that both Kareena and the baby are healthy. He even revealed that there was no reason for anyone to worry at all. Randhir further added that the whole family is currently preparing to welcome the grandchild. While the family has stayed mum on the date of delivery, reports suggest that Kareena will deliver on December 20. Over the past few days, rumours of the actress giving birth to a baby boy have been floating around too. But let me inform you that these reports aren’t true at all! In an interview to HT Brunch recently, Kareena mentioned, “The strange part is that Saif (Ali Khan) and I have never really asked ourselves whether we want a boy or a girl. It’s the first time, so we want what God has decided for us. That’s why we haven’t even thought of names. Saif loves surprises, and he likes the excitement of not knowing. Ever since Bebo announced her pregnancy, we’ve been spotting her way too much in Filmcity. Well, she has a lot of photoshoots and endorsement deals to complete. We heard that she signed around 18 projects since the time of her pregnancy. Therefore, her visits to Mehboob studios has been quite frequent. Only recently did she complete her last project. That one was a maternity photoshoot. Basically, our point is that Kareena and her unborn baby have spent way too much time in Film city. So much that Saif even told her that she might end up giving birth there! In an interview, Bebo said, “I feel quite glamorous. I’ve been dressing up, going out, shooting, being normal. Saif keeps telling me I’ve never looked as beautiful. And that’s all any wife needs to hear, isn’t it?”

Well seems like Bebo’s baby is already a global citizen. We have seen Kareena attending the Global citizen India conference initially after it was announced. Bebo was happy to be a part of such a great initiative and well her baby was lucky too. It also had a chance to be part of it indirectly. Speaking at the occasion, Kareena had revealed that, “Wherever I go these days there is this one question asked which is I think quite intrusive – Is it a boy or a girl. Have you found out? I am like. Excuse me! What difference does it make. I am a girl child. I would love to have a girl. I have done probably more for my parents than a son would. My answer is very rude. This is downright intrusive. We are still in a nation where you are asked, if you are getting married, are you still going to work? If you are having a child, are you still going to work? These questions upset me".
