We are a bit confused with Bebo’s reaction on her pregnancy news where she was visibly upset with us for taking interest in such an important event of her life. A few days back we got a hold of Kareena Kapoor Khan making a statement and slamming media for showering unwanted attention to her pregnancy. She was quoted saying, ”I am pregnant, not a corpse. And what maternity break? It’s the most normal thing on earth to produce a child. It is high time the media back off, and stop treating me any different than I ever was.”
What I fail to understand is, why Bebo is getting so upset with the entire issue. Getting pregnant is such a beautiful thing and comparing the scenario to a corpse or national casualty is so not right. Earlier too there were instances where her sister Karisma Kapoor had been pregnant and no one gave such a reaction to the media. Not just her sister, the entire Kapoor family has never ever reacted to any incident so vaguely and blasted media for no real reason.
Such a shocking reaction from Kareena Kapoor has definitely left me stunned since she has always been a darling for the press. Kareena would be next starring in Veere De Wedding alongside Sonam Kapoor and this is definitely a much awaited movie. She got furious when someone quizzed about her maternity leave. She stated that “Anybody who is bothered shouldn’t work with me… but my work goes on as is, like always. Stop making it a national casualty. We are in 2016, not in the 1800s. Probably, even at that time, people were way more civilized and normal than the way the media is behaving and speculating now,”
What I wonder is, there was no media during the 18th century and Bebo and had media been there, the reaction would still have been same from media.Bebo, you definitely need to calm down and enjoy this beautiful period of your life. Bebo’s reaction makes us wonder if this is the side effect of Udta Punjab’s average performance at the box office.
